In 2024, we launched a new marine distributor / dealer focused approach to business. This program launch offered a dealer locator scrub to include ONLY trained authorized dealers.
In 2025, our focus was training - where we trained 100’s of technicians from all across America (and beyond) about Webasto heating and cooling products.
NOW in 2026, we have a full-on distribution focus. We are inviting all of our dealers to purchase direct from our distribution network, as Webasto will no longer sell direct to dealers. Moving to this 100% distribution-led model is a strategic milestone for Webasto Marine. This shift is a major positive for growth because it optimizes the supply chain and enhances the "last-mile" experience for the end customer.
Our goal is to better serve all customers by strengthening our relationships at every level.

These transitions - spanning the FCF Evo, BlueCool SX-Series, VX-Series, and V-PRO Series - ensure that whether you are installing a self-contained unit or a complete chiller system, you are receiving a "future-proof" solution that is PFAS-free, highly efficient, and easier to operate.
Webasto has strategically adopted R32 refrigerant for its BlueCool VX-Series marine chillers, and the new SX-Series, prioritizing long-term sustainability and operational efficiency over alternatives like R454B.
By leveraging R32’s superior thermodynamic properties, these systems achieve a higher cooling capacity with up to 40% less refrigerant charge, all while remaining PFAS-free and delivering a lower Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) than traditional R-410A units.
Specifically engineered for the marine environment, R32 excels in shell-and-tube heat exchangers and pairs perfectly with corrosion-resistant titanium condensers, ensuring a future-proof solution that benefits from global supply chain stability and proven reliability across millions of installations worldwide.
